Thursday Plantation x Mollini Shoes

After connecting on Collabosaurus, renowned skincare company Thursday Plantation went ahead and collaborated on a Christmas Giveaway, as part of Mollini's '12 Days of Shoe-mas' social media campaign. Both brands featured the artwork (created by Mollini) through their social media accounts and had very beneficial results!

 

 

Why this collaboration was so successful

 

Bec from Art of Social who manages the Thursday Plantation brand saw a great opportunity in aligning Thursday Plantation with Mollini Shoes from a brand and customer perspective. After connecting on Collabosaurus, both brands decided on an easy and effective way to tap into one another's databases through an Instagram Giveaway.

Up for grabs was a:

  • 1x $150 Mollini Online Voucher⁠
  • 1 x Thursday Plantation Skincare Package worth $95⁠ 

Mollini created the social artwork for both brands to use via their social media accounts and both brands gave away product of equal value.

 

Results

 

Both Mollini and Thursday Plantation achieved the below results from their collaborative social media Christmas giveaway:

  • 150% lift in profile visits on Instagram for that week
  • 300-400 new followers for both brands (that could be potential customers!) 
  • Thursday Plantation were able to reach 65k potential customers through Mollini
  • Mollini were able to reach 6.5k potential customers through Thursday Plantation
  • 900 people participated in the competition across both posts (high engagement)
  • Adding value to the customer
  • Brand alignment for both businesses
  • A great working relationship between both brands moving forward
