The Rise of Artist Collaborations

One of the biggest trends we have predicted for this year has been artist collaborations! In fact, a Melbourne-based jewellery brand saw a whopping 437% jump in sales because of an artist collaboration on a new collection!

Both artists & brands stand to gain enormous benefits by teaming up! Here are some examples from the wild to inspire your next artist collab...

Each year, Go-To features the work of an Australian artist in their holiday campaign. In 2020, they celebrated, and collaborated with, our First Nations people. They featured the incredible original artwork by Lynette Nangala Singleton on their packaging titled “Ngapa Jukurrpa.”

Adairs teamed up with the incredible Karina Jambrak to create a breathtaking collection of bed linen and decor that will take you to a tropical island in your very home. Drawing from nature this incredible collection is the perfect pairing.

To launch their new Austin store, Madewell tapped into local artist Emily Eisenhart to paint a supersized mural in front of their future new digs. Inspired by natural landscapes like the beaches and wildlife, this mural is very on brand with Madewell's brand and makes the perfect artist collaboration.

In celebration of their fourth birthday, 23rd Street Distillery has launched their next limited-edition release, Red Citrus Gin. They partnered with the incredible Jonathan W Gemmell artwork for the packaging. This combination of flavour and colour is the perfect partnership for both brand and artist.
